Because Votiva is non-surgical, there is virtually no downtime associated with the procedure. As such, you will be free to return to work and your normal daily routine right away. However, you should avoid sexual intercourse for a few days.

What to expect during your treatment

When you arrive at the Paradise Valley Skin Klinic™ for your Votiva procedure, we will guide you to your private treatment room where we will review your concerns, perform an examination, and discuss your treatment plan with you. We will then apply a numbing cream to the area to ensure your comfort. During treatment, we will use two different devices:

  • Forma V. The Forma V device administers RF energy to the internal and external tissues. It tightens the vaginal walls and the labia, resulting in softer, smoother skin and enhanced intimate function.
  • Fractora V. Fractora V is a resurfacing device. It enhances tone and texture, while heating the external vaginal tissues to stimulate collagen and elastin production, dramatically improving external vaginal laxity.

Depending on your needs and goals, we may use one or both of these devices during your procedure. The treatment is not painful, and at the very most you may feel a slight warming sensation similar to that of an ultrasound.
